Location: India(Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata)

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic research analyst to assist our research efforts in the fast growing IoT and digital transformation sectors.

As a Research Analyst, you will be developing and contributing to original insights on digital transformation across industries. The research scope is global giving you a good exposure and opportunity to develop your career in the fast-paced technology research space.

Key responsibilities

1. Cover research on IoT, digital transformation, connectivity, private networks, and other adjacent technologies
2. Develop good understanding of the various aspects of the IoT industry (including technical and business)
3. Understand the application of IoT in industries such as manufacturing, home automation, healthcare, asset tracking, smart utilities, etc.
4. Develop understanding of the terminology used and translate the knowledge into meaningful analysis for clients
5. Create and manage databases for tracking market development with a focus on hardware, connectivity, platforms, and applications
6. Track industry developments using primary and secondary research methods
7. Develop relationships with leading organizations in the IoT space across the entire value chain with the objective of developing deep industry understanding
8. Attend industry events and conferences
9. Assist /Lead in creating industry reports, forecasts and other consulting engagements

Qualifications

1. Required experience: 2-4 years with research experience or working in the industry on IoT/digital transformation.
2. Execution experience in IoT or Digital Transformation would be an advantage
3. Understanding of any key technology like cloud, IoT platforms, 5G or AI is preferred
4. A degree in engineering preferred, additional business/economics degree a bonus
5. Ability to analyse and synthesize the available data and bring out value-added insights
6. High level of analytical and critical thinking skills
7. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form
8. Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel, PowerPoint.
9. Active social media presence a plus.
