Overview:

With the democratization of technology, long battery life, large memory and multiple cameras are now common features in many smartphones. New features like dust and water resistance are slowly filtering into mid- and low-tier segments. Smartphones are now good enough to last for a long time, which has resulted in slow or negative smartphone sales growth in many regions. With the increase of 5G network roll-outs, consumer awareness will increase. More 5G-enabled smartphones from leading OEMs will help to catalyze the sell-in process. We explore the possibility of new innovation around 5G use cases to drive growth in near future.
