"Using common platforms and aggregates from current products, the VW Group has reduced development costs by 30% across its planned electric vehicle portfolio. Audi is looking to price EVs at par with the models its offers with a turbodiesel engine. VW is looking to introduce the Golf-size EV model I.D. in Europe for under €30,000.
