Overview:

The United States has become one of the hardest hit countries in terms of COVID-19 with over 200,000 cases. The virus has had a major impact on the US economy, with over 30 states currently advising Americans to “stay-at-home”. Non-essential businesses have either been advised or directed to close with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and a few other essential businesses. While the telecommunications sector has also been deemed essential, carriers have begun closing corporate retail locations voluntarily to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition, they have also begun offering free unlimited data plans for their customers in these times of social distancing to keep connected with friends and family.
