Overview:
This report contains an overview of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit held in Maui, Hawaii in December 2018. Qualcomm brought over 350 analysts and media people to the island to unveil its two newest solutions: The Snapdragon 855 SoC for premium smartphones and the 8cx platform for always-on-always-connected PC’s.
This report will go over the product details and enhancements, how we view its competitiveness, and what new applications will be enabled as we are on the enter the first 5G rollouts. Qualcomm also invited over a dozen hardware, carrier, software, and accessory partners in Hawaii touting new technologies and products.
