"Lantronix acquires Maestro and FALCOM Holdings for US$4.9 million. This acquisition represents Lantronix’s commitment to becoming an end-to-end IoT solutions provider. As per Counterpoint Research, 5 billion cellular IoT module will ship globally during 2019-2025. This itself explains the opportunity of cellular IoT. Moreover, IoT is not a one-man show. To provide end-to-end solutions, companies either need to collaborate or need to acquire other companies. This acquisition will expand Lantronix’s cellular capability through IoT cellular gateways." - Satyajit Sinha
