Overview:
The India smartphone market managed to grow by 6% YoY in February 2024. Xiaomi led the smartphone market with 20% share, increased emphasis on offline marketing strategies is contributing to the brand’s growth. vivo was at the second spot 18% share, it offered Zeiss camera in its V series for the first time with V30 Pro. Smartphone shipments are usually weaker during the February month, but the demand in the premium segment persisted due to recent flagship launches. The promotions and sale periods were subdued during the month resulting in the online share reducing to 35% in February 2024. Xiaomi led the Online channel during the month with 23% share. While on the offline Channel vivo led with 24% share and it was also the leading 5G brand during the month.
