Overview:
Online channel shipments witnessed 13% YoY and 47% MoM decline in October 2019 as channels built up huge inventories for festive season last month. Overall online share was 37%. Flipkart Big Billion Days and Amazon Great India Festival were the main highlights of this month sale on online platforms.
Offline channels experienced 11% YoY growth driven by vivo, realme and OPPO as these brands were trying to increase their presence across offline channels by maintain price parity and faster offline launches. Overall offers across offline channels were aggressive as compared to last year like extended warranty, screen replacement, cashback offers etc. which drove the share.
