Overview:
Shipments in the global TWS market decreased 2% QoQ in Q4 2022 to 81.2 million units while revenue rose 5% QoQ to $9.0 billion. The Asia-Pacific region excluding China showed the biggest reduction in shipments in QoQ terms, while Europe showed the highest growth. Apple and Samsung posted QoQ growth in shipments due to new product launches AirPods Pro 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The AirPods Pro 2, in particular, saw a good response, absorbing the demand for new AirPods with ANC.
