Overview:
Global TWS sales in Q1 2023 increased 3% YoY but decreased 12% QoQ to 71.5 million units, while their revenue decreased 1% YoY to $7.5 billion. The QoQ decline was mainly due to the seasonal effect. The Asia-Pacific region maintained the biggest share of the TWS market due to India’s growth. Apple’s sales decreased 3% YoY on the diminishing launch effect of the AirPods Pro 2. However, the brand continued to maintain its dominance in the TWS market with a 23% share. Xiaomi and Samsung’s shares decreased on fierce competition from second-tier brands.
