Apple: Apple’s chipset shipments declined in Q1 2023 due to seasonality.
MediaTek: MediaTek’s shipments declined in Q1 2023 due to inventory correction and weak demand. LTE SoCs shipments declined by double digits and 5G SoCs remained flat.
Qualcomm: Qualcomm’s shipments slightly increased in Q1 2023. The weak china market and inventories in premium resulted in a flattish outlook. Inventories to normalize and demand to come back in H2 2023.
Samsung: Samsung’s shipments declined in Q1 2023. The company recently announced the Samsung A54 Galaxy with the Exynos 1380 chipset. Exynos 850 to continue in LTE chipset in the low end, but Samsung is launching Galaxy A14 with 5G Exynos chip in the low tier.
HiSilicon: Based on our checks and sell-through data, Huawei has finished its inventory for the HiSilicon chipsets.
UNISOC: UNISOC’s shipments declined in Q1 2023 due to weak demand for low- and entry-tier smartphones and the slow China market.
