"The collaboration will deliver a robust connected vehicle platform at scale to the market. The solution will include in-vehicle infotainment, advanced navigation, autonomous driving, telematics and prediction services, and over-the-air updates.
A vehicle embedded with sensors and connected to the internet will generate terabytes of data. This data will be processed in vehicle with some of it needing to be relayed to cloud servers for further processing. This requires data computing at the cloud and edge of the network.  Hence, the collaboration between network infrastructure and cloud players will lead the way for cloud/edge connected vehicle solutions."
