Overview:
This report is part of our effort to keep our client updated on the COVID-19 pandemic situation around the world and its effect on mobile devices shipments. This update is based on the response of various countries/regions until April 30th and its repercussions on the market. We have included a tab for tracking the changes from our last devices forecast on March 26th.
Counterpoint’s Market Outlook provides short and long-range forecasts of the total addressable market size by volume for smartphones and feature phones by region. In this report, we forecast vendor-level shares from 2015 – 2024 for 35 key brands in all the regions. The basis for the forecast is the actual performance achieved by the various handset vendors until Q4 2019 with intelligence-led predictions for the early part of the forecast and then extending to 2024.
