"Apple could face a backlash in China amid the increasing tension between US and China over the arrest of the Huawei CFO. Some Chinese companies are threatening employees that using Apple products could be punishable if caught. This adds to the recent issues that Apple has been facing in China with the district court putting a ban on the sale of older iPhone models. Even though Apple has released a software update to address the issue, it is up to the Chinese government to decide if the software update is enough to resolve the matter. This could put short-term pressure on the iPhone makers as China remains its second largest market after homeland US." - Shobhit Srivastava
