0
Apr 15, 2025

Overview: China, India, and Vietnam together produced more than 90% of global smartphones in 2024, which is a slight increase compared to 2023, mainly due to the differing performances of the Chinese and Indian markets. We found that smartphone production is concentrated in a specific region mainly due to the production conditions and export costs there, in addition to local demand/consumption, according to Counterpoint Research’s latest update on the global smartphone manufacturing allocation report.
The report focuses on tracking the smartphone global manufacturing mapping based on a few key dimensions, including but not limited to Country – location, Brand – Manufacturers. This semi-annual tracker and report will provide the decision maker with numbers and analysts’ view beyond the numbers.
