Research Analyst – Semiconductors & Technologies

Now, we are seeking a dynamic analyst to join our semiconductor research efforts. The candidate should have an engineering knowledge background and working experience in semiconductor industry a plus.

This is global entry-to-junior level Analyst role where you will be developing and contributing original insights on how the semiconductor technologies are evolving and exposure to key technology companies across the value chain. This should help you develop knowledge, profile, and grasp of what it means to be a star analyst.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Help build and maintain on the semiconductor tracker and forecasting deliverables by researching, interpreting, and recording relevant information in proprietary databases.
  • Contributing analysis to create a rich body of qualitative and quantitative research insights across different projects and deliverables to build synergies.
  • Manage databases ensure timely completion, quality checks at various stages.
  • Expressing your industry viewpoint through blogging and sharing weekly industry insights within the team.

Requisite Skills & Experience:

  • Highly interested in and possesses knowledge of semiconductor technologies, components (chipsets, sensors, etc) used in mobile devices, computing servers, base stations, etc.
  • Foundational knowledge of semiconductor, mobile and telecom sectors.
  • Understanding the component supply chain of smart devices.
  • Self-motivation and a keen interest in analyzing the semiconductor and component sectors.
  • Can express your views clearly and concisely.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A graduate/post-graduate with an engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in semiconductor industry in a research, product management or technical marketing role.
  • Fluent writing and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ability to analyze and synthesize the available data and bring out value-added insights.
  • High level of analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work confidently as an individual contributor as well as being comfortable as a team player.
